Corruption the song of Queens
Bishops bicker, while nights fill on liquor
A mental challenge Rooks to Stallion
Strategic battle through mindless prattle
Valliant warriors clash in ancient saddles
Wars rage while Day and Night engage
Battlefield Row or Commander Columns
Siege upon Castle or Siege upon Vassal
A relic of Feudal System or insight to human wisdom
Warriors tall in stature and free of fracture
Stand behind a Roll of Pawns at morning dawn
The battles near, hearts pump with fear
Protect the Queen by any means for she is dear
A splendid battle from Day to Night
While all eyes watch the Powers that be
A shadowy figure takes flight discrete and out of sight
What carries he? A brief of clandestine sheets
Intel, logistics, key positions, codes and admissions
A Benedict Arnold with great precision
Striking a deadly blow to his Division
A traitor among his fellow man,
A mole working for another plan
A double agent for the King of Man?
A dark force who seen the light of Day
Bringing clarification to a Wars dismay

Yet Unknown To The Knights, The Pawn Had Their Loot..

Haunted with the struggles of life gotta earn a livin' to feed his kids n his wife/
All he could do is jus reach straight for the knife because of things at work that cause pain n strife//
The whole world seems to be takin more than givin' he asks himself what is the point of livin'/
He understands n realizes that it's all unforgivin' but then he comes up with no real reasons for livin'//
He feels so demoted n underprieciated 'cuz of the fact he aint liked he's jus purely hated/
On top of that the poor guy feels descriminated then only to be told his contract was terminated//
He didn't rant or rave, scream or shout he didn't understand what this shit was about/
Then he went home his job was without he had a thought in his head he went with it no doubt//
Scared of what his wife would say something he'd dread because now he cant afford to get a loaf of bread/
He took out a gun from the drawer n placed to his head fired the bullet into his brain this poor pawn is dead//

Life is like a game of chess
nothing more, nothing less
Mr pawn is making his move with finesse
trying to get by higher power is his quest.
A new white man gets appointed to power
while the blacks struggle by the hour
to get to the top of lifes tower.
he has snatched the briefcase
in the race to a neutrual place
strategically trying to leave no trace
moving stealthily with grace.
If he gets captured then off with his head he shall face.
No turning back for thats against the rules
but he is often mistaken for a fool.
Only moving Up, Not down
if he makes it to the top, he shall be crowned.
So in life you must choose to make the right moves
for mistakes are there for you to improve.
Aim for the top no matter how low you are
sky is the limit, only you can determine how far
you can go from reaching the stars
so choose your moves with care
for lifes pieces are out there to get you
beware

There are some really good pieces in here. I think the picture hit everyone in a manner that allowed thoughts to pour onto the screen. Everyone who contributed did well at expressing what the picture made them feel. Nice pic, and very nice pieces, I keep comming back to read everyones drop.

Surrounded by managers and supervisers

Around high authority he feels small
Hectic work stations make him want to cry
But he's still determined to give it his all

If somethings not good he'll make it better
Ones with seniority don't disrespect him either
Its evident he works harder than his co-workers

I know this is a second piece

he feels slayed n betrayed by a dog eat dog earth
he aint recognized for what he's worth at his birth
no one feels his pain or sorrow
he honestly tries to get through today and tomorrow

Amongst all the well established companies, this one stuggles to keep going
Held down by hard working and honest values, it's end is showing
Bigger ones laugh and scoff at it's methods of work
While taking it's customers or anything they can to make it hurt
Keeping it's head high, the small company trudges forward
Walking straight by the others, having no grudges toward

Dammit! I thought that was a good way to write about the picture but too bad I wrote it horrible. Different from the others but not nearly as good. I'll try again later. Good job to the others, by the way. I liked reading them.
