Word....this shit's nice.
The hook at the beginning sounds like some Bone Thugs type shit. I wasn't feeling lethal's flow at the begining, but it picked up a little. The flow change near the end of his verse was nice. Would have been a little better in my opinion if he came in with it earlier and switched to it twice. Hook, like I said, was nice... Ike - Your voice/flow fits well on this. I didn't really like how you slowed the flow down in the middle, but it wasn't off or nothing, just not my type of thing. Message was nice from both. Basically, you guys did a nice ass track here......good shit :thumbup: EDIT Didn't know there was a third verse....lol. The bridge might have been a tad too long, cause I would have turned the song off if I was done typing. ok so the beat sounds cool. theres nothing spectacular about it though
the hook honestly i dont like. the notes are way off so the different voices dont mesh too well. you need to find notes that will blend in with each other. you cant jus throw onions and ice cream in a bowl and expect it to taste good. know what i mean? as for the verses. the first verse was real plain. but i like that laid back style so that was cool. lyrically it was okay too. second verse i like the switch of styles. you came out with a cool quick flow and then slowed it down as the first one was. overall the song was cool. not the best but it was good. the only complaint really is the hook. |
