New Idea?
 

Considering there are like, 38 people in this league right now.. which is the best this site has seen in a single league in a long time (if not ever) and so I was wondering you guys would be interested in changing shit up if like, 10 more people will sign up.

Here's the idea;

If any of you have been to RM or B-boys, I could make this league run pretty much like those are.. because that shit is ill.

For those of you that haven't been to those sites, here is the basic concept;

A separate forum would be made entitled either "Top 30" or "Top 20," and everybody in the league would be ranked. Either the top 30 in rank, or the top 20 in rank, would have their battles set in that separate forum.

The people ranked 1. and 2. would battle for the "Championship Belt." The winner holds the belt, and defends next week (or can sign out if you're gay). There would also be a "Contendership Matchup," where the 3. and 4. ranks battle to decide who will face the person who has the belt the following week.

You can sign out anytime.. and can either decide to sign back in with your old record or have your record reset for the next week. I know some idiot would try to have me reset their record in the middle of the league, so I'll clarify.. You have to sign out for at least a week to sign back in with your record reset.

The process just keeps going on and on, with the best in the league battling in the separate forum and everybody is going for the belt.

No showing would only result in you taking the loss and being signed out instead of a 2 week suspension, and the points ranking would be completely demolished. A win is a win, a loss is a loss. Also, the whole "playoff" shit would be gone.

That's pretty much the basic layout.. but I don't want to change it if A. You guys dont like it.. B. Around 10 or more people don't sign up and keep the league active at around 40-48. I don't necessarily need that many people to sign up, as I could make it the "Top 20," but I'm not sure this league will stabilize at this many members yet.

So, I just need to know if any of you would be interested in doing this shit.

If not, fine.. the way it's going right now is still working out good, but I personally like the other way better.

Just tell me what you think.. and either way.. keep getting motherfuckers to sign up.

i think it should be a smaller number then top 20. cause of course members are gonna be signing in and out.. and i dont think we will keep this number of people in the league the whole way thru.. so like top 14 or something

idea is cool, i liked the whole playoffs thing, it gave people something to strive for, but now they will just have to strive to become the champion......so yea, good idea!!

but i wud have like a Top 14 or sumthin, unless you can get a whole lot of people to sign up.

That's what I wanted to do if we ever got KLL back and got it active. So yeah, I'm in favor.

well the way the current text league is going, KLL will be back soon :thumbup:

and maybe running it the way you want, will attract more people to it
