I found out this mornin that I have the chance to go to New York for five days with my college. I'm definatly goin. So can people let me know what to expect when I get there coz I'm really excited.

i go to ny like every other weekend...but it depends on what part u going to, all borughs arent really that similar

i live here...dont talk shit to people...thats about it
bring money, cause anything you see thats on TV is in manhattan, and it isnt cheap...
bring an ATM card and at least 100 dollars that way you can enjoy your week

If you have fine females, Im willing to do private tours

To be honest I aint got a clue what I'm doin. All I know is I have 90 minutes of some seminar thing to attend and then the rest is what ever I wanna do I think. Not bad for 5 days on the other side of the world

Just be prepared for a lot of walking. That's pretty much all I ever do when I go to the city. Either a lot of walking or I have tickets to go see something.

My guess is since your goin with you college your only gonna be probally stayin in Manhatten wich is koo, but it gets mad weak out their. If i was you ide go over to Brooklyn(gotta go their cuz BK is my stompin ground and I know you'll have fun their) or queens cuz they be the hot spots, bronx is tiight tooo. If I was you ide stay outta Harlem cuz like you said 1st of all you a white boy and 2nd of all your English so cats round their will run up on you quickly hahahaha!!! As far as their bein "cyphers" every where all the time......nah i dont no bout all that. Ive lived in Brooklyn my whole life and ive never seen to much of it unless theirs a contest in the park or theirs a big concert. If I was you ide def check out some lil neighborhood cd/vinal shop.....theirs always mad exclusive new york mix tapes and shit here that you wont ever find over their in the U.K so def peep them shops out. Ummmmmmmmm.....Also you should try and see if you could get inside the "Tunnel" its were funk flex and kid capri and many other dj's be playin at.......its a pretty exclusive club so idk if you can get in but idk its worth a try. If your 21 too theirs mad hip-hop and reggae clubs all over so ide def try and get out to go to some of em if you can. All I can say now is I hope you have some fun 4real.......and you can buy one of them "I LOVE NEW YORK " t-shirts hahahaha!!! Have fun and be easy son, 1

i guess you do walk alot in nyc, but im used to it...
then again me and my cousin walked from 34th to 233rd street then crossed over to the other side of the bronx to play basketball for 2 hours...thats about 11 or so miles...

it's fun.. but its better when you know ppl from out here..where they can take you to all the underground hot spots.

just bring like at least 200-300 dollars... the mix tapes out here are fuckin hot. and everything in manhattan is expensive... be prepared for $1.50 20oz sodas and bottled waters.

150 for a 20 oz is decent....where i work you get a CAN for 175
