just something i had to write for english class on
Ares(the god of war) to the 2000 bc beat
The sound of war playing from life’s instruments
Sent to sin on this earth in light increments
Stories of the battlefield, fact or fiction?
These raps I’m spitting portray ruthless leaders that attack with vengeance
Let me paint you a picture…illustrate the art of war
The God of War, Ares…swinging rods and swords
Moving slow in his road of patience…his only motivation
Become a living legend, or send a wish to the heavens
He constructed a legion of soldiers and his theory is
That knowledge is power, even without experience
Its clearly this…he conquered lands and masterfully mastered
The battlefield techniques, and accurately captured
Enemy troops…and this is just a glimpse of the proof
But on his odyssey home he put a dent in the truth
With a deafening glance, and a threatening plan
He found a force more invincible then any weapon of man
As reality sets and falls upon his thick skull
It hits him hard like running in front of a brick wall
Slipping on reality he needs to bend his grip
While his philosophy was deep like endless pits
Knowledge is power and through his power he knows he’s the best
But he still can’t catch his breath like heavy blows to the chest
He visualized himself dying in a war…gun 4 gun

Hey yo actually made history interesting to read... lol...
Yo man this piece was pretty good man... strong vocab and pretty good rhymes, descent flow and all... I was feeling most of this, specially the wordplay, but it slowed down at the end... you didn't end as strong as you started...
