How many of you believe in past lives?

I personally do, and one of the reasons I believe in them is a little something called deja vu. There has been many times where I have experienced it. And whilst some can be passed off, there are times like when I see something happen in a place I have never been before.

Isnt that this life still though?

I always get that shit. Like I'll have a dream, and it'll just be an average dream in a wierd place i've never seen, with people saying regular things, then I'll wake up and go "well that dream was wierd." Then days, weeks, even months later, that exact thing will happen. Its pretty fucked up. I remember once I had a dream where I was just talking to this guy at work, outside, and then a dragonfly flies towards me from behind him so he cant see it but I can, and it flies in my direction then goes away, and in the dream im all shocked and shit. And I woke up thinking whoa, why was I so shocked just by a dragon fly flying around?

Then a few weeks later that EXACT thing happened, and I was thinking "oh my god, what the fuck is this, this is that dream." and then when the dragonfly flew away I was shocked, not because of the dragonfly but because it was exactly what happened in my dream. Now THAT was wierd.

Not only did I dream of the thing happening, I dreamt of me remembering the dream I was having at that moment I was having it, before it was even over.

But anyway, past lives. I do believe in past lives, but not in the way you would usually think about past lives. Its pretty long to explain, but if you've ever read me raving on about my interpretation of reincarnation in this forum, it has to do with that.

Other shit that makes me believe in past lives is like when you dream of a place that you've never been to before and didn't even know existed and then you discover that it does exist.

I believe that it is your mind unlocking memories from a past life.

Who says its not your subconcious tapping into a future segment of time that hasnt occured yet?

What fact lead you to base this phenominon on a memory of past life?

No facts, just my own personal opinion.

There could be a number of explanations for my dreaming of a place I've never been to, but the one I believe is that it is me, unlocking a past memory.

Do you think the life you have now reflects on the success or lack of from your previous one?

Well, to answer that question I would have to have complete memories of my past life/lives if I indeed actually had one/some.

The only possible past memories I have are the few cases of deja vu I have experienced. But they could be put down to other shit and not memories from a past life.

If my life reflects on the success of a past life of mine, then I had a decent one. Because, minus going to prison I have had a pretty sweet life so far.

i dunno about past lives, but when i was 4 i had a dream where i was an older prince climbing a ladder saving a princess up in a tower and she popped out her titties. now how did i clearly view something in a dream tht i dont remember ever seeing?

A hollucinagenic chemical found in your brain that supposidly induces dreaming. Mix that with a subconcious imagination and you can place yourself in any whacky situation or location in dreams...

okay, that may exlpain how i saw it, that doesnt' explain what i saw.

imagine you dreaming about a place you don't remember ever being, and one day you get there and it looks exactly like that.

But isn't the idea of deja vu memory so how could it be the future? I haven't had deja vu for ages but everytime I do I get a little confused like I'm replaying that moment & I can never place why I can whether it is what has been said, who said it or the way it was said etc.
