^lol true anyways all these things contribute to a FLOW and consitency is a big part of it.Always having some rhyme patern set.And not randomly rhyming with a diferent scheme evry other set of bars.It can come off nicely sometimes but it often makes the rap sloppy.

I beleave peeps got there own styles of droppin' there spits...
If everybody went by tha same code of how there spit is to be dropped, than nobody would have there own style. It's not tha way you write ya shit on paper all pretty and shit, It's how you spit what you got on that paper, or what's in ya head. There's alot to this that I'm going to leave out, so don't get me wrong. Just wanted to express tha importance of havin' ya own styles. peace I'm OuTtIe |

peeps go all out on using metas(similarlies)
u should use a meta cleverly ie cage - "fuck ur head up LIKE corn rows put in by blind giants" this is good cos theres two meanings to fuck ur head up whereas eve - "i make it hot as las vagas wether" sucks cos shes just nameing sumthing thats hot, itd be better if she said something that was funny and is clever like em - "im hotter than my dick is when i piss and it burns " 1 |
"im hotter than my dick is when i piss and it burns "-give the credit to eminem.

I agree with what Fil-Be-Ill said. 90% of rappers use SIMILIES not METAPHORS. The difference is a similie is and explicit comparison between two things and a metaphor is an implicit. In lay-mans terms similies use like or as and meta's dont. I just wanted to clearify that.
