I use acid, and ive always had the problem...on sum samples..that they sound all defromed n tweaked..it hurts my ears..its like a repeated bang, its not snare, no kick, its weird.

I dunno man, but I used acid and it's the same thing.

Maybe it's just the sound software that it uses?

its prolly a one shot, but its got a long fade out or somehtin, the software(acid) takes it for a loop and has it a certain tempo, but it should really be a a one-shot, go to track properties and use the scrolly thing and changed from beatmapped, one shot and loop

Nah. It happened to me on fruityloops. I actually have no idea what it is. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it a few days alter and it was fine. Weird.

acid works fine for me

are the samples at the right tempo in acid? if u stretch the sample, (play it at a slower tempo) the sound will sort of sound strange maybe like what your talkin bout. otherwise, also it could be that the sample is really supposed to be a one shot, but youve set it loop.
