Battles up Monday - Check In by Wednesday - Drop by Friday - Votes by Sunday
No line limit and the battler with most votes by Sunday night is the winner. If this is a topical battle, write a topical and not a poetic drop and the same is vice a versa. Extensions must be asked for by Thursday night by pming any of the mods (Drakel or Drama Queen). No extensions will be given if asked on Friday night. Extensions are only given till Sunday night at the most. If you dont ask for an extension, and drop whenever you feel like it you will be disqualified. Do not abuse extentions, they are not to be used if you're just too lazy to drop within the confines of the circumstances. Leave reasonable explanation for your absence. If the League notices you are a slacker due to this nature you will be banned for being out-right slothfully callous. Don't ho-show because you will be banned if you do it twice. We can understand you cannot drop due to certain circumstances but if this happens a second time, you're banned from the league for 2 weeks. If you signed up for both leagues and you no-show in one league twice, you will be banned in both leagues! Try to limit the freeposts, we will have a chat/beef thread for that. As night falls...souls emerge from the ghosts of RV's past... With intent to be our downfall...and make this battle the last... As i enter the forums...the sound of the dead can chillingly be heard... Battles increasingly getting slept on...members visions are blurred... Strange goings on occur...as votes are been explained their mindz deter... Not voting for the best piece of writing...just the emcee they personally prefer... Established members sucking dick...strictly for their links to get a click... Its like..."Ye...You easy beat him...Now go return the favour quick..." I just sit back...watching as this site i like crumbles and slowy dies... In my eyes we got a problem...as this open mic clearly defies... Topical verses arent getting rated because the piece of writing is witty... Its because you write in small letters...and make your font look pretty... But fuck these false writers...i just rub them out like they were chalk.. This aint even me battleing propain...this is completely real talk... We gettin called by the dead...burried with pointless made threads... RV's riding in a hurst...we just a stone throw away from deaths bed... Dont wanna see the other side...so from this pledge that i apply... Everybody need to play their part...and dont let this site die... |

now this was a good drop here very good vocab but not good structure from propain u need to work on that structure aight didnt like have a good flow but still good aight and immense ur was very good nothin really bad from it except u can improve a little on everythin to make perfect aight but good man v/ goes to immense just a better drop but keep it up aight

{Propain}: nice concept, vocab was on point, flow was aight. Imagery was good just like the emotion which was raw, had a very straight forward approach, picturing situation vivid and clearly. I was feeling the third one the most, the lines just were so smooth there.
Immense: original approach of the topic and I love how you worked it out, you are speaking mad truth there. It's not your typical topical piece but I absolutely loved reading it, it read so smoothly because everyone on here can relate to this in some way. Vocab was nice, flow was good, can't really comment on imagery or emotion. Vote goes to Immense because I just felt his a bit more... |
imagery- propain (ex. The needle penetrates the skin and you feel the Enfliction)
emotion- immense (you can tell that he was annoyed at the dickryders and battles being slept on) metaphors- immense (ex. ...i just rub them out like they were chalk... ) vocab- propain flow- immense (not much to say, but his thoughts blended in well) concept- propain (a deep concept, i just preferred his concept over immense's no offense, though) originality- immense (had an interesting twist to how he stated his thoughts) overall enjoyment- propain damn, this sucks, my votes came out even. I enjoyed propain's most and he won the more important categories, so my vote goes to propain |

Propain-Real good verse from you. Imagery was fantastic, vocab was unbelievable, and emotion just added to perfection. This was great man, real talk. I was feeling your verse, and how it portrayed the story and stayed on the topic. Truly good work here my friend. Immense-Decent drop, but you lacked emotion. I wasnt feeling it. I dont know, it just wasnt reaching out to me man, it was boring. Vocab was good, imagery was decent, but emotion lacked. You didnt do as well of a job on this topic as Propain did, so that is why he gets my vote. V/ {Propain} |
