Ruined...

This world has ruined me, I have learned all the wrong things, and barely anything I need to know... And it will go on like this!

How am I so unlucky?

La Cosa Nostra 12-13-06 05:41 AM

What you have learnt is bricks in the wall that builds up your reality.

Whether you choose to neglect it or live it is up to you....

Terumoto 12-13-06 06:11 PM

No, no, no, my reality is all wrong.

Cola 12-13-06 06:12 PM

jsut do meth....

ah ha. another one has broken free.

the day you realize that most of the stuff you've learned in your life is complete futile garbage, that's the day your life changes.

there's another moment like that in your life too, when you discover that all the things that you think empower you are in true reality, your shackles.

i have a book you may be interested in omb. very very intersted in.

Viva 12-13-06 06:58 PM

wat book's this?

∆ P E X X 12-13-06 07:14 PM

well that's for OMB. and i say that, not to be a smart ass, but because the answer i have for him may be different than the book i have, for you..

Of course. Perceiving your self as empowered is giving it far more credit than it deserves. Lose the illusion, lose the self, lose the loss, find everything. But while I feel I can let go of everything at any time, I actually mentally can't but feel like I can, creating the illusion of freedom which hides the fact that my thoughts are actually not free as of yet...

Is this what you mean? What book are you talking about?

Crazy Hades 12-13-06 09:18 PM

Ignorance is bliss, my LOVER.

Magic5 12-13-06 10:31 PM

Yeah, what book fool?! HOOK A BROTHA UP!

sounds to me like, somewhere deep down you still want it all to be true but something ringing inside you just won't let you believe it. but i think you summed it up the transcendance from one to the other beautifully. lose the loss, find everything.

Mimesis, Viva, and everyone else who's got something inside of you beggining to ask questions, The Secrets of Life by Stuart Wilde will absolutely change your life.

I am just afraid, because of the uncertainty of the future. What will happen if I let go? What will become of the things instilled into my reality as top priorities: career, personality and social status? Probably they would get better as a result of me being able to function without clouded perception, but I keep thinking there may be hidden disadvantages. The thing is, those disadvantages would only be considered disadvantageous in this conditioned reality. So I guess it requires a leap of faith... Ah, this is all so foolish.

Anyway, I'll let you know what I think of it when I've finished reading.
