As an old, semi-retired texthead [I still drop the occasional piece, every 4 months, lol], I'd say that it's not. Text is just a stepping stone that some people get stuck on.

Some kids don't want to move on, some kids don't have the means to move on, and some kids do both. Nothing wrong with it.

Sure, ill textheads might not be able to do ill audio, but can an ill audio head do ill text? It's a different medium. A different form of art.
