Another one, kick it for the people/
Gettin' crossed up like a steeple, the world is looking see-through/
Around me the mists are partin, and startin to reveal the darkness/
That lay beneath the layers and sheets on the way to the soul/
Who knows the shadows that lurk in men's hearts, no one I know/
So I gotta try to decipher the meaning behind the madness/
Why people fight sadness by going on a crack binge?/
More weight for your shoulders, can you handle that baggage?/
When you can't face the truth no more because you can't take it/
Your rose coloured glasses, they start to get faded/
You understand now that the sword is double bladed, and you can't face it that so much time has been wasted/
What about the facilitators who call out haters, when it's evident that they really hate us/
Ingredients to break us, deadly recipes they make up/
More and more they say, can't delay and take a paycut/
But someones' got to do it right, so what the fuck/
Yeah, if you say so, but I ain't with that, how can you sleep?/
Knowing that there are people out there falling asleep on park bench seats/
No money, had to feed the beast/
Straight up, gave up the fight to the disease/
But you don't care right? Money is money, and priorities come first/
And piety seems cursed/
When you praying and waiting but still dying of thirst/
Stay strong, don't encourage the temptations of dirt/
The sensation of thirst makes the lungs burst, but before physical needs, the mental comes first/
So wait...Don't go for the bait and get hooked on the lure/
Cause the allure disappears and for permanent scars there is no cure/
