How does a newbie get started here?
 

Basically I want to get started text rapping here but when I read the rules, it basically said that I would have to vote on rap before I could get started on raps, feel free to put anything else in that I missed

yea, you need to reply to 3 open mics before you can post an open mic yourself, but i'm pretty sure you can battle straight away...

Head over to the tutorials forum and learn about text rappin' n' such, lotta decent tutorials in there which will help you.

Read all the rules
