Cool Edit Question???
 

I had cool edit like 2 years ago and shit. I havent been using it cause I have moved to bigger things outside of it. But im going back to it for fun.
I downloaded cool edit, but for some fuckin reason it has little bell rings in the back round of all my music. It is pissing me off. Is it because the version is probably older? Or what?
If it is older, what is the newest one out? Help would be appriciated. Sorry for bring stupid shit like this in here... LOL

well first, we could tell if it's older or not if you gave us the version of cool edit you downloaded.

I would like to have some tips on cool edit pro 2.0 , like when you do you backvocals its so long you need to re do it on the other track uner , do they have some thing easier and faster cuz it,s long to do , and I don't play much with the noise reduction but i know that it's important so i would like to know how to use it thx

I dont know how to really describe it. I just move down a bar, and go over the voices if thats what your talking about. The noise reduction? I dont bother, I have my own system hooked up to my computer and mic to leave static out and all that shit... Sorry, I forgot just about everything about cooledit. and its a bitch right now... LOL ... But I should be putting up audio's next weekend so everyone look for that.

i reakon ur better off wid ACID Pro mate, i downloaded tha full version off of Kazaa, tis class tis what professional DJ's use...

You actually think "Professional DJ's" use acid pro?

Acid pro sucks, it's limited as all compared to the plethora of programs out there


Cool Edit is your best bet for editing vocals, acid has next to nothing for filters, no compressor, etc... I could go on for days.

You best bet is to use both, acid pro is easy to use but doesn't let you edit your vocals.

Record your takes and clean them up in cool edit, and you should have some nice sounding audio.

if you need help w/ what filters you should use read up on caffienes tutorial...
