2 links to Your Votes to Battle
 

Right now, the 100+ posts to vote is cool, but I know we'd ALL like to see more voting done on our active battles. I've been on here since November, and have checked out plenty of other sites, but keep coming back here -got a good atmosphere. One thing I DID notice is that some of them have implemented a rule that says that you have to vote on at least 2 battles and post the links at the beginning of your battle.

This works out really well, as it causes more interraction, allows newbs to post feedback (at least up the battle and give input) and stops so many battles from getting SLEPT ON -cuz you KNOW we all HATE that shit.

What I want is to implement a rule in Front Lines that says you have to post two links of battles you've voted on to post a new topic -battle.

I know this would create a lot more voting, and also weed out some of these wack ass fools that are only here for 1 or 2 battles.

What do y'all think? (mods too)

Listen, kid your idea is old news where having some new credit system soon where you have to post 3 links or something, otherwise than that understand where u coming from.

yeah actually this is a very good idea.. this site probably has the most members out of the battle sites.. yet on the smaller sites you can get your battles voted on quicker than on this site

This has been brought up every two weeks for the past 6 months.


Honestly it just creates a huge backup of mod work as IR already has a huge amount of claims to handle.

With the amount of battles posted in FL, it would make it nearly impossible to check all the links.
Also.... implementing this would only increase the number of shitty votes hence making FL even worse.

We will have a new credit system up soon that will take care of voting. Just be patient.

Good input, all, but I STILL wanna see SOMETHING put in place here. I'm NOT saying that a mod has to CHECK every link that's posted, but if it's just outlined as a ground rule, people would start to do it. -Of course, we'll ALWAYS see some new idiot just freeposting for someone to battle in Front Lines, but overall, if the mods post that it's a rule in Front Lines -that everyone has to post two links to start a new battle thread (even just the one person that POSTS the link), emcees would follow suit and do it.
