From the birth of man it’s spanned across the baron land
Neanderthals engaging in hand to hand, combat
-A high demand for ownership and will to command
Hunting mammoths, lead by the strongest man
Hierarchy ran.. cos throughout the collective
If someone was unhappy they’d fight and contest it
It was respected, commended, dealt with and ended
Who triumphed took over, that’s from where we’re descended
Conflicts were amended, that’s the way lives were lived,
Centuries passed and still, the way the law would give
A dog eat dog world, that’s demolished only to rebuild
By skilled minds, it hasn’t reclined, there’s still innovators
And inventors to willing to find, and contentious dictators
Only things that’s changed is the execution of the papers
It went from 1 on 1, hand-to-hand and then to enslavers
Family favours, spiralling into kingdoms run by the ruthless
Truth-less times, but still followed the pattern of a true myth
Past this was the crusaders, conquering neighbours, what with
1 man to an army, power hungry with appalling politics
Killing off the racial mix try’na assume powers beyond need
Pure greed, stemming, growin like a weed from the past,
The years pass and the thirst fades until another relapse
The sands of time move, but they don’t dissolve just re-map
Cos til the end of time Men will fight and that it that!...
