and found a sooting rap song that stuck with me as I went to sleep
and in my serene state of REM, something special happened
I tossed and turned, but it was worth it 'cause I knew I could do that
I fuckn' fidgited fighting the fact that I had found passion
possessing the pen, provide me with rhymes, so I can zap'm
emcee's emulate every aspect of an old fashioned rhyme
but I scribble my own scriptures for the fuckn' use of frying
any idiot indicating the stage has got me crying
question the quest, i quench my fists hoping you will gimme a try
