yo yall know how dmx came out with that real in your face thugged out shit.. he made a real bang with his first album.. but it seems like after its dark and hell is hot.. dudes started getting sick of him.. many of his critics attribute his fall off to his lack of versatlity and ability to make different types of songs

well i see the same shit with 50 cent.. dude seems to me like he really has a limited amount of topics in which he raps bout.. if hes not poppin someones head of with his "studio gangsta antics" then hes dissing ja rule

the shit is getting old to me.. ive even seen alot of people criticize him for his lack of subject matter.. i mean it will be hard for him to dublicate the sucess of Get rich or die trying.. but do you think that 50 will fade like dmx did.. or you think niggas are still going to be backing his shit?

the only similarity is that when dmx retired i couldn't give a flying fuck and when 50cent retires i wont give a flying fuck

50 Cent is not the next DMX because:

1. 50 Cent mumbles, he doesn't rap.

2. DMX is passionate and has a good delivery... 50 Cent mumbles.

3. DMX is at least deep with his thug crap (or used to be), unlike 50.

4. DMX was very creative when he started out - 50 Cent was never creative (except for How To Rob.. can anyone say one hit wonder?)

5. DMX is was a good mainstream artist... 50 is a bad mainstream artist.

In fact, the only thing they really have in common is they both hate Ja Rule. That's pretty much it.

50 Cent is rubbish, straight up

Weak delivery, basic lyrics, played topics....I don't see one thing he has going for him, yet still kids look at him as the illest rapper ever. He doesn't possess a great amount of skill, he was just marketed right. Guys think he's gangsta as fuck and girls think he's hot. He is just a commercial puppet IMO, I would hesitate to call him an emcee, 50 is just an "Entertainer"
