Life: Through My Eyes

Once I was a legend, and now I'm only forgotten
Used to get biten, but now I guess my prose is rotten
I'm living in the moment, but came a second late
Cuz Life's a whore, who won't kiss on the first date
Just hope to hold hands with Life, or if you think so
Ride around her house, and throw bricks at her windows
Life's a series of moments, blink and you'll miss it
So I must be blind, or maybe my eyelashes are twisted
It's like I've missed it all, blinked for 18 years right ?
All I've seen is missin images, like sadistic strobe lights
Life's a riddle, too bad we'll never get to solve it
It's our acid to base, but no water as a solvent
Will never work out, no answer will be found
The equation is: You - life = 6ft under ground

As unfortunately short as this piece was, I did get an opportunity to see the topical prose that I am sure you hone. The intermittent metaphors that supply the ultimate metaphor (life) were a nice addition to the piece's quality. I'm sure you could do better, & hope to see an influx of Open Mic activity in the near future. I liked this line best:

I'm down my friend. And this was just a little something I wrote in English one day. It was ment to be longer but I could honestly go on forever comparing life to things so I just decided to post it.
