Oakland is the city that's awake at night/ there's shooting, and stabbings, and homicides/ These people need to be stopped/ justice needs to be served/ they rob banks for lunch and slash throats for dessert./People die every night and no one's convicted of murder, and rape, and the crimes they've commited. Turn on the lights and stop the violence/ make this city echo with nothin but silence/ Stop hearin gun shots and screams for help. lets stop the madness and teach yourself, ethics and common sense to wash the blood off the hands that you rinse. No more of this deadly game. It's not any fun while you lie in your grave.

This wasnt all that good...your structure needs work in this...do not put it in paragraph form like that...put it line on top of line because some people find it harder to read like that and it loses the flow in the piece sometimes....but keep at it.
