Ps2 Help!
 

ok, i went to turn my ps2 on today, and it wont turn on... no power

and yes i checked all the damn cords, and the switch in the back, but nothin... anyone know what might be wrong with it?

..Check if all lights n w/e shit in ur house work..
Hmm but no seriously i had the same problem..took it apart..well not totally & cleaned it with some cloth..(suitable to resist static electricity)
It worked.

Mine did the same thing....

And I had it looked at and the queers told me the fan in the back was broken
and so my Ps2 was overheating and thats what fucked it up.... you should check that

believe it or not.....this happened to me

it was a light switch......
the power in the wall wasnt on...cus the switch was down...

stupid...but sometimes u dont think of it

^Ah, that's how the light in my living room is, attached to the light switch. (It's a light that you plug into an electrical outlet)

Back to the PS2... you said that you checked the cords, does that mean you made sure they were plugged into the system? Because maybe the electrical cord is dead. The electrical outlet might also be dead. Try plugging something into the outlet to make sure it's still working.

yeah, i checked that too, i tried different cords, as well as different outlets

all he said was send it in + $100 and they will fix it...
so im pretty much out of a ps2

im bout to throw it up on ebay + all my games(11), network adapter, memory cards, and controllers

unless someone would like to offer me some money for it lol
