ive noticed that alot of newbs well battle once and never ever post anywhere again... i wonder what causes this to happen... like this one kid battled and i never heard from him or saw his name again... i mean there are some threads i dont go into but ur bound to see the name somwhere, and it hapens alot cuz i know there arent like 10,000 battles goin on and shit and there is like 20,000 people registered.... i dont know any thoughts on this or anything at all???

From my personal experience, when I first came to rapbattles.com I was under a different name and I tried my hand at rapbattling.

I completly and utterly sucked. And I realized I had no chance of elevating.

So I never tried again. And if it wasn't for the poetry board, I'd probably not be here right now.

I can relate to Nec, I quit battling for a long time, ironically i just started again today. Until you reach 100 posts, it is hard to get votes, which results in alot of frustration. (This is my 100th, i am the greatest.)

I think its b-cuz they get discouraged...

Like someone says that they're wack and they take it to heart

If tha first time they battled in their life people made fun of them

meh...i battled quite a bit when if irst joined..quit about 4-5+ months ago...think the prospect of releasing failure just puts people off.
