Rakim Injured In Connecticut Car Accident [
 

Rakim was injured in a car accident Wednesday afternoon in Connecticut while en route to New York City, an attorney for the legendary MC said.

The rapper is said to have hit his head on the windshield and bumped his knee. Rakim's attorney did not have further details on the accident but said his client was coherent and talking, did not appear to be hurt seriously and is expected to be out and about soon.

Rakim scratched his face, suffered a swollen knee and he's experiencing back pain. He was treated at a hospital, but it's unclear whether he will have to be admitted.
