matt took this one...dubsax came good for a first battle but try to make your bars punches/insulst instead of just stating the facts...they will hit harder that way.....
matt, nice verse you aare really elevating, had some wordplay in there that was good...and some personals. depends wordplay set up was tight but the punch kind of fell short. good verse though, you are definitely getting the hang of it.

Matt takes this, i would advise both of you to tighten up and structure and throw more personals though, your verses might as well be against brick walls. Remember that most lines are played so a personal is the best way to make the best impact on punches and win battles. Matt takes this because of some better concepts and more visibile punches. You're both new at this though, give it some time and both with elevate immensely. Both had good flow but by making your lines more even you could improve that, if you aren't going to throw the hardest punches try mixing it up with some multis and internal rhyming.
