Insomniac Depression
 

Severe dream foresight, subconscious experiences next day at night/
DéjÃ- vu of seein you when mind’s restrictions weren’t quite to tight//
After pillaging my village requestin to take it back isn’t my privilege/
Mind resilience made the same mistake twice cuz I’m reliving-it/
My mind resides in a world with no bed or pillows with which to lie/
No tissues needed to dry my eyes, brain tissue doesn’t contain glands to cry//
I pray a sentient being takes hold when my mind lets go of my mold/
As my soul plunges into an 8 hour yet slumbering Canadian cold/
Woke up on the wrong side of the bed because I’ve witnessed todays events/
I need to vent to save my common sense, to keep my sanity present
No wonder dread and a snore clutch me when I reach the door/
I’ve essentially done this before with my unsleeping, un-feeling core/
Only proof I haven’t done this before is clothes aren’t wrinkled/
Living a brand new day, yet reflections of past experiences are sprinkled/
“It’s supposed to be a nice day today, full of warm weather�/
I knew better, so I went and threw on a sweater/
Blurred lines, perhaps this is really the dream of yesterday’s events these retinas have seen/
Like cheap teddy-bears, my realities ripped at the seams like you wouldn’t believe//
This paper isn’t physical and these lines are written on the walls of my mind/
Like pressin rewind on something live and playin it back like it’s realtime//
This must be the root of insanity, unheard voices commanding me to perform blasphemy/
It seems it’s the aid that’s foreign, no one understands the mad man, ignore and keep passin me//
This curse is a double edged twin blade sword cutting me four ways/
My brain, soul, emotions wane to a black hole and fade………..
