I'm new to this and I practice in cyphers while on chatrooms but I was curious how much everyone else practices, As you probably noticed my record sucks, but I have literally just started rap. I mean do you guys practice off the net? I try and battle once a day, and i've only had like five battles, So. . .

And... i battled alot...
I record alot.. but dont post it here
But yea... read other peoples battles..
And you'll get the hang of it..............

I started doing the net thing literally just 4 months ago, and i have gotten
a lot better then others who have been here for ever...and when i first started
i would battle about once a week...but dont worry about records they dont
mean anything at all... just keep trying homie its people like you that make it
fun to be here instead of all the new people saying "im dope blah ill merk you!"
so keep it up and shiz...it would help if you read the tutorials and if you read
the LLL battles...

I've been rappin for only 3 years and I've only been battlin for a few months. With what Emerge^ said, Reading LLL battles and even Elite battles will help you get what to write. My advice is to be creative and original with your personals/punches/metas. Stay away from the played lines such as gay/sex jokes. If ya want some more advice, PM me. Hope this helped

i practice daily... I dont always see results daily, but after a few weeks i can tell a huge difference. Practice while ur watchin t.v., just listen to what they are talkin bout and create a flow about it, anybody else got any good tips....

One more thing.....Practice freestylin. Malice is right...Freestyle bout anything..TV...Work Whateva...Walk down the street and freestyle bout things you see. It'll help you come up with battle llines faster too.

Yea I like to freestyle and spit off the top of my skull in the shower, and when Im bored in school I write shit down in a notebook. Just alwayz constantly spittin. Thatz all you gotta do dunnie, just spit bout everything and anything and anywhere and youll get better, I gurantee.
