~ When will we embrace our youth
*When is support due?
~ Why do we hide them from the truth
*And give them nothing to resort to
~ I know where I’ve been
*Have no idea where I’m headed
~ Bless me with paper and a pen
*For my emotions that were indebted
~ Guide the next generation from violence
*Not to be behind bars
~ It can’t be resolved with silence but guidance
*So they’ll reach for the stars
~ So before tha coming of my demise
*And the meeting of our one king
~ I hope I opened a few eyes
* And taught someone something

Arrite it was ok for a first drop. I mean i can relate to the topic mos def. Good words in there, and had a good basic structure. 4real nice work.
