Humankind’s home

At last the drainy run down day finally reaches the night fall
Where the sky darkens to a drifting blue with hints of red throu out
& sailor’s delight leaves land lovers marveling at such a beautiful sight

Such a peaceful time to one taking this in from the comfort of their porch
But some can not see the sky God painted above in his lost heaven
For they are to distracted by life’s evil stress that blinds them from all hope & love

It is my blanket of love that the angels knit complete with the shiny stars
It is my hope of a better place to explore when my adventures here are throu
& it is a home discovered by so many lonely drifting souls before me

A place where the angels dance upon the silky clouds fluttering with their golden wings
To a melody so enhancing so alive & free that it is still unheard by living ears
& with hearts so light & glad that it will forever pump their blessed heavenly blood

Some day I will visit the great unknown & will die again at its very sight
For it’s our calling to move on to this new world that’s hidden from our eyes
Now you see it’s a gift built by God for us, it is humankind’s own home.
