And in total, over two hundred got injured at Omagh.
Casualties on both sides, this shit ain't even over.
We sit at home, silent waiting for some word,
anticipating that someone we knew had gone got hurt.
The news crews are live, showin' us the blood trail
On the steps of the hospital. Suddenly it's all real.
And we realise that baby's father is sittin' out there.
And his life has just become a total fuckin' nightmare.
The dude just lost his only fuckin' daughter,
his wife, two un-born children AND his mother.
My brother! Every bit of our hearts goes right out to you,
I couldn't DO what fuck you gotta do!
Days later footage of this man up in a graveyard.
Buried his whole family. Ireland's just so scarred.
And every one of us is caught up in this quagmire,
we're just normal fuckin' people being pulled apart,
with every day a hit, a reprisal, more shootings.
Punishment beatings and fire bombs in nightly BBC footage.
It's ruthless. Indiscriminate fuckin' warfare.
Women and children dying, yo our sons and our fuckin' daughters.
It's a slaughter, so don't QUESTION what we've been through.
You've seen the whole thing through some fuckin' news crew.
