Inner Strugle

Eyes full of fire, ready to erupt magma.
No one likes your talent, everyone hates you.
Uncontrollable hatred, body convulses, breaths come out as gasps.
You think you can rap, dawg, you think that you’re black.
Mind races, thoughts zip through, eyes left rolling.
You’re a poser, deserve to be left alone, beaten and swollen.
Pain clasps the neck, every heartbeat feels like a fist to the mid-body.
You deserve every ounce of pain you receive, got it?
Hate rises up through the throat, explodes forward.
Don’t try and release rage, it will make life more awful.
A violent, screaming rumble erupts out of the voice box.

Eyes ache, rage rips relentlessly through the veins.

No mercy from the anger, both pushes and seems like a black hole, too.

Frown lines appear, fists clenched, hands glued.

On the outside, calm, on the inside a war rages.

Rage pulses, slower, more controlled, blood runs cold.
Calm down, suppress the eruption, put me back in charge.
On the surface, everything's calm, nothing is wrong.
