Two new photographs have surfaced in the Iraq prison abuse scandal
 

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Two new photographs have surfaced in the Iraq prison abuse scandal which appear to show U.S. soldiers gloating over a corpse.






In one, Spc. Charles Graner of the 372nd Military Police is seen smiling, giving the thumbs up.

In the other, Spc. Sabrina Harmon, a member of the same unit, is in a similar pose.

CNN has not confirmed the identity of the body in the pictures, but it is believed the man died at Abu Ghraib prison.

While the pictures, which surfaced on Wednesday, have not yet been authenticated, the soldiers who appear in them are among those already facing charges in the abuse scandal.

The pictures came out following the first court martial in connection with the abuse.


what a damn shame man.. forcing people to do sexual acts and humiliating people is one thing.. but when you gloat over a dead persons body there is just no fuckin justifiction for that.. what a damn shame.. that girl that keeps showing up in those picture she deserves to get put in a room.. with a pad over her head and just have like ten people take swings at her head with aluminum baseball bats.. what a fuckin shame.. now you see why people hate the us so much

I am sure that if you all were over there fighting getting shot at and seeing people die, this may be amusing to you. War fucks with people. It turns them into completely different human beings. All these kinds of things happen all the time in war. All countries do them, not just the so called "evil" ones. This is what happens in war. The higher ups don't understand it because they have never been in war, they just order it. So they go crazy when they see these kinds of things taking place.

still thought man theres no justification for gloating and laughing over a dead persons body. for christ sake like biggie said theres no comming back from that.. why would you laugh at anyone thats dead? even if they were terrorist.. and then taking pictures of it?

if people have these kind of attitudes then we cant complain on why terrorist are angry and why they hate the us so much and why people always have hatred in the world
