Who Knows About This Rule????
 

We are aware that some people have been PMing other people to ask for votes. We had used to allow this, but starting June 4, this is no longer allowed after looking at the amount of swaying going on. This includes asking for "honest" votes, telling people that you are being cheated and to drop a "honest" vote (haha.. whatever)...

The only exception is that after you post feedback in someone else's battle, you may post a link back to your battle.

If you get a PM asking for a vote, forward it to me, with the pm quoted and after an investigation, I will DQ that person who asked for the vote and give you $100 added to your bank.



How many people honestly knew that this rule was put into place???

I knew i told a few others aswell it sucks next they'll say we cant drop links in others battles coz peeps would assume that as dickriding or a hate vote.

yea personally i think the rule is wack

i mean all it is gonna result in is battles being further slept on
ever since the rule was put up my battle with t-storm has had no votes on it

i think that the rule should be...................................
*if a person pm's u askin for u to vote for them and they will vote for u then forward it to the admins and let them handle it*
but..............................
*if a person pm's u askin for u to drop an HONEST vote then u can either delete it if u don't want to vote or........u can check out the battle and vote for who you think was the best.*

that way battles wudn't be slept on as much and ppl wud get honest explained votes on their battles.
of course there is still gonna be dickriders and cheaters but they will still be there with this new rule to......so really i think it is pointless, cuz it is just further causing battles to get constantly slept on.

Yeah im pissed cause one of my battles got DQ'ed.. I didnt even know about this rule.. but i pmed someone and said can you give me imput on this battle, and maybe drop a vote on it... now the person could just delete it... or look at the battle.. the choice is up to them...

Leaving links in battles after leaving feedback will always be allowed... at least it'd be public record.

As for disallowing PM asking for votes... had to do with people abusing it and all the problems that go along with it. People send a PM to someone and when they get voted against, they complain. Then we have those people who PM saying something like "I'm being cheated.. vote on this battle honestly" <-- Yes, I did read that and that is called swaying.

if some send's a pm saying yo vote for me here . . ill return the favour they get banned dont they? - had like 10 of them i just ignored it . .

Truth.. but people r jus gonna move to like AOL or MSN for votes.... ive gotten a lot of messages there asking for votes....

Na that aint always the case when i asked for honest votes i meant it, i never held beef wit the person if they voted against me and that has happened b4. People who get bad tempered about it mean u to vote for them they should have action taken against them. I purely battle and try and get the thing closed as quicky as i can, i've got this battle goin on now wit Killah the day after the rule came out (A DAMN CLASSIC) and its been slept on. This is gonna be the future of relaunched, its gonna wind up like Old RB peeps aint gonna be able to battle coz they'll be at their limit for battles, & people are gonna get bored coz of all the sleepin.

Admins, u aint gonna stop d/ring its gonna happen this is a good way but you gotta also bring in a rule that ensures all battles get peeped and voted on like a battle of the day above the list of battles currently open.

Why don't you stop bitching about it, and start voting on other battles. You will realize who actually returns the favor, and you can start voting on their battles more often to get a vote back. That way, all the people that don't vote will hardly have their battles voted on. I'm over on Original RB sometimes and I dont think that I have ever even upped a battle. All I do is what I explained so far........

I vote on other peoples battle & ask them if they can do a honest vote on my shit.... but some cats just don't do anything...... they just don't vote
