One Way or the Other
 

The temptations runnin’ rampant/ how could this have happened/ everything’ was goin’ great/ but someone wants to change my fate/ I know to go with One and not the other/ One is sayin’ love, the other hate my brother/ everything goin’ on is completely confusin’/ goin’ ‘round in my head like some kind of illusion/ I know its One was or the other/ His was, no other/ fightin’ this thing is completely drainin’ me/ but if I quit, souls are lost for eternity/ it’s hard to believe one person can make a difference/ to be kept in remembrance/ for all the things that were done/ but, then, I remember the Son/ the decision shouldn’t be a bother/ its either One way or the other

One way or the other/ follow Satan or my Father/ knowin’ what to do/ havin’ Christ pull me through/ all the pains, struggles, and strife/ I will follow the Way, Truth, and Life

The trials of this life are floodin’ my mind/ always comin’ at me all the time/ to know what to do/ His word I must go through/ to do what is right/ always puttin’ up a fight/ to go with One and not the other/ with the One, my sins were covered/ not wantin’ to break His commandments/ after sayin’ that I truly repent/ givin’ in is somethin’ that will happen/ and when it does, my heart it will dampin’/ I want His way not the other/ doin’ things for my Heavenly Father/ but with everything comin’ at me/ the future good is hard to see/ don’t know, I feel like I’m bein’ smothered/ but it’s either One way or the other

One way or the other/ follow Satan or my Father/ knowin’ what to do/ havin’ Christ pull me through/ all the pains, struggles, and strife/ I will follow the Way, Truth, and Life

Will there ever be an end/ I pray and ask my dearest friend/ to ease the pain and strife/ to help me through this life/ leading me, guiding me/ helping me walk righteously/ followin’ the One and not the other/ not wantin’ to go no further/ along the wide road/ that is corruptin’ my soul/ even when I stumble/ Lord, You won’t let me crumble/ You catch me when I fall/ You hear me when I call/ out of the two/ Lord, I choose You/ even though Satan, to me, will try to bother/ I choose You and not the other
