LK and I are having a battle. I agreed to drop 1st. So, I sat at my COMPUTER 3 days ago and typed my verse. Then, I posted it. For all you IDIOTS out there, THAT IS NOT pre-writing.


Pre writing means literally having punches and/or complete verses written, usually with filler, that you drop against any opponent. Therefore, Shadow claiming I "pre wrote" my verse is fucking stupid.



Now, LK needs to drop.



Shadow...keep your mouth closed, please and keep dropping WACK TOPICALS against better opponents. Any vote you get in your battle against FLOW is a d/r vote. PERIOD.

^ hate to break it to you buddy, but anytime you write a verse in advance its pre writting, which aint bad to me, i do it..i dont like to "keystyle" i'd rather prewrite and make sure it's a nice verse than rush it...but yes anytime you write a verse in advance of the due date, it is pre writting..no matter if it is well developed with punches etc. but i wouldnt worry about it, so what if you prewrite...not every one wants to rush shit..so stay relaxed and keep ya pace man

ok pre-writing is having stuff prepared for any Mc you battle..
it is also typing a verse 3days before you spit it because you can edit it before you post with different punches..

Yes. posting online means you are, by definition, pre-writing. the only time its whack is if say someone calls me out and is like "20 lines, 10 minutes."

now i know they've been writing personals and punches against me for the last 10 months of their life, and expect me to come up with half assed shit because i only have 10 minutes. thus, dont accept whack call outs like that. end of story.

i mean if sumone writes a verse for a certain MC with all personals and shit and then challenges them with the verse ready, basically it is the same as challenging said person and writing the verse.
all u've done is wrote the verse first....................................
but yeah if sumone says like 20 lines in 10 minutes then u know they've got sumthin pre-done and they're givin u like 10 minutes to come up with 20 lines....fuck dat shit!!

that is why i never really set a time limit for spits...as long as my opponent is not gonna take the piss and wait like 3 or 4 days before they drop.

^^ tru in some points...but, the whole notion of pre-writing is silly unless you consider the fact that it only exists when you have punches prepared for any emcee.

When I battled BattleSnake, we agree upon a 20 min. spit. I truly Key'd mine. She took 40 minutes to drop. Then, came back with 20+ lines of obvious pre-written shit cuz non of the lines had ANYTHING to do with me.

On the othe hand, if I sit with my note pad and write my topicals, I see no problem with that. I take pride is writing good lyrics.
