The Final Pass (R.I.P.)
 

Yo before i start i just want yall to know that this is some really personal shit
and that ive had two very close relativs pass in the last 2 months...my Grandfather and an Aunt of mine...and i wrote this to my Aunt as soon as i got tha word she passed......Check it.....

Yo so now you've gone up there with the lord looking down,
and now you have absolutly no reason to frown,
you have led a good life and thats for real,
ill remember you for the rest of my life cause your unforgetable here,
and hey stay the way you are,
cause i have alwase loved you weahter your near or far,
and stay close to mom lord knows she needs it bad,
and now were pretty close to being the only family she has,
and dad told me how she's goin to chirch and all the good things she's done,
and please stay around scottie cause he's your son,
by now you should know what i AM going to be,
im gonna be an mcee and change the way people think,
and one day they will see,
and tell grandpa i said hi,
as i write this one of many good by's,
so this is what i call the final pass,
when your soul's at rest at last,
PLEASE give me the power to achieve my dream,
and change people minds about things.

damn kidd...deep shyt...very emotional...know how it is to lose family or juss somebody close 2 you...but ya really liked da poem...feelin it...peace

wow, almost shed a tear, i can relate deeply to this, i just lost both my grandmothers within a 3 month period, so i know it is hard....but this was beautiful man because you want them to know how well u gonna do 4 yourself and that is cool, this was almost like a prayer in a way......keep it up, peace

now i wrote this little strip for my peeps gone on/
tho there bodies left there spirts never left home/
and grand ma i know you didn't know pa left/
but when you hit that white light i together ya'll stepped/
you said you'd never leave him unless you are him passed/
but ya'll past over the course of two weeks now ain't that sad/
and great grand ma didn't have a man/
but she had me and i helped as much as i can/
even when you got drunk and really wild out/
i was there to help you get in the house/
one love granny mae/
i just hope when i die you meet me at the gate/
