Today my life began, oh how happy you will be
When you realize you`ve created, a little life like me.
As the months progress, as my body starts to grow
One day you will notice, then you will know.
Time has gone by, my heart began to beat;
Weeks pass on by, I see my hands and my feet.
My hair shall be BROWN, my eyes will be BLACK ;
I wonder if I`ll look like dad, or will I look like you.
My sweet loving mother, if only you could see;
How fast I am growing, how big I will be.
The time has come, doctors give you the surprise;
How I wish I could see, the look of joy in your eyes.
I want to be called Terry, feel the warmth of the sun;
See the pretty flowers, lay in your arms when the day is done.
I wonder what you`re thinking, what is in your head;
Today I`ve gotten my answer,
All along you have wanted me DEAD!
