Explination... 1st line-It's been said that urban legends were derived from poetry (poetry is in his profile).... 2nd line-there's an urban legend about steppin on cracks (step on a crack-break ur mothers back)....but i dont believe in them so ive got my foot on top (in) his asscrack lol... u should get the punch and wordplay etc...if not plz dont vote so the battle's fair |

Nice try durmill... you have potential at least. Two things:
1) Your concept is too much. Most people probably don't see a connection between urban legends and poetry, and the connection is weak anyway. You're stretching it. Your shouldn't have to explain shit. 2) Your set up had nothing to do with your punch, so your punch was a let down. It sucked anyway. The punch itself just wasn't witty, no real wordplay, eh. Notice how Apoth tied in apples/nature to mix it up. Apoth: boo @ not trying. you take the win, but very barely. v/ apoth |
