Ok, the east coast started hip hop, but gangsta rap started out here..
Easy, Cube, Snoop, Dre, Ren, Pac, Too Short, E-40, Kurupt all pioneers..
my question is, what happened? after death Rows reign ended, the west fell off.. who do ya'll think is hot and can resurrect the west for the future.. is there hope?

Hmm,interesting question actualloy.As you said,most of those rappers did fall off, but Too $hort is more underground i would think,but if he was 'overground'(dont know what thats called) hed probably ressurect it cause he sik.Snoop is garbage now,Dre,never was real hot except for some shit in NWA.Easy was undisputely the best in NWA,Cube was good also but now that hes in Westside,hes wack.Ren,E-40,and Kurupt,ive heard theyre names but never theyre music.I read an article saying some of the Outlawz still made records.If those people became,well,big,theyd be ressurecting the west fo sho cause they have raw talent.I dont know what else to say but....2PAC FOR EVER!!!!!!!!

Yea I heard the Game (in g-unit) from L.A... He's cool, he might get us recognized a little more.. Do ya'll remember Locksmith? he was the one who lost to Riegn Man in the first MTV Battle.. i'm in his city right now, Richmond Ca, and he is making some good music.. he has a Song on Kazaa called "What is it" and he gets a lot of radio play out here.. plus on the Wakeup Show, he ripped Jin, and he's just crazy off the dome.. what do ya'll think of him?

thats the game off lloyd bank's album. i thought that line was real hot and its got somethign to do with this thread. but about the game he'll never blow if he keeps playing the back with g-unit. look how hard banks had to work to get out of 50's shadow. yayo and buck wont blow either...yayo cant rap and actually buck might sell in the south but he's not that good either. game is signed to dre i think he needs to get away from g-unit and focus on making mixtapes and getting a good buzz going and then after a year or so drop his solo album. hes wasting his deal being that other guy on the lloyd banks song. he needs to create a buzz then maybe hell blow real big and bring it back to the west coast.
