You're a scientist working in an experimental laboratory at the United Stated Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) in Ft. Detrick, Maryland. Dr. Orkin, the head biochemist, has just developed a formula that can expand organic matter up to 20x normal size, as experimented on with vegetation and insects. So, you figure that a man who is 6' 3" weighing 200 pounds would grow to near collosal proportions and weigh as much as a Buick. Thus, you would be over 100 feet tall. You ingest the formula, twice the recommended dosage for experimentation. Tell what happens.

Saturday, September 11th, 2004: 3:15 p.m.
Fort Detrick, Maryland


In a bold flash, I put the cold flask to my own mouth
Cracked my lips a slither, then poured out the whole spout
It flowed down quite slow but steady, the taste was quite strange
Sorta like, Nyquil mixed with Sudafed Migraine, my change
Would come as soon as night came, so I ran to catch my train
I got to the Red Line just in time to get out of the light rain
Slight pain rippled through my chest, then down through my gut
I hadn't noticed the train stopped and it was time to get up
So, I stammered out the station in haste, walked to my place
About two blocks on 3rd and H, aches made me drop to my face
It was about 7:38, I shot up spaced on my bedroom floor
Got up, put on my Jordans and ran out the livingroom door
The sun was ducking behind the horizon as my eyes dawned
Upon the size of my thighs, I realized they had more brawn
And I felt more strong than before, wasn't long before I snapped
When I looked down and saw my feet were the size of hub-caps
I began looking around frantic on Atlantic avenue, in a panic
I flagged down a cab or two to escape a scene turned manic
My body was shaking like seismic quakes as my size inflates
My arms fell by my side 50 feet, I could see inside drapes
On the 10th floor on Westside Lakes, a high rise on 5th and G
My head could hit the trees and with every step I split the streets
It was a scene straight out of Godzilla meets King Kong
I could spit and drown a throng of people but it seemed wrong
The crowd was runnin' and screamin' like a Sci-Fi thriller
Then, four Choppers started circling high like fly-by killers
I reached up and smacked one out the air, it crashed hard
And took two others by the tails and smashed them apart
The resonance of my laughing caused the ground to crack
And when I let out a fart, a wave of cats fell out flat
The 4th mechanical dragon-fly fired rounds into my back
My muscles were so tough, it felt like a mosquito or tack
But, there was no need cuz the potion began to subside
And after violent convulsions, I was back to normal size
Lying in Dr. Orkin's office, fully clothed and awake
"You took the potion that makes u dream of something great"
I couldn't believe it was a dream, I took the wrong fluid
But when I looked outside, I saw a building with holes through it

Damn, I was confused...what really happened?

WOW, <<<<<<wonders why this has been slept on, ok this was one of the best open mics i've seen in this thread, beautifully written, great use of vocabulary and describing the scene, imagery was there,i could picture this unfolding in my mind,it flowed nicely as well,and was just put together perfectly wow, nice job...1

dayum yo... that was a hot open mic! i way prefer story texts to just the usual run of the mill shit and this was really creative without losing out in language and flow. encore!!
