3rd Eye Blind
 

You see-
My meta-state has left my metaphors
In a state of confusion –
And my 3rd eye is blind
Subject to the illusions-
Of this fallacy that we call reality
In its present state-
Subjected to the propaganda
That the media reiterates -
And I’m falling into this political hypocrisy
That we call democracy
But our democracy means do as we say!!
Or face Atrocity
Which in turn slows my mental velocity
To a state of mediocrity
Leaving my 3rd eye clouded
By political hypocrisy
And now -
My 3rd eye is blind
To the meta-physical -
And my connection to the creator
Which was once spiritual-
Is now clouded by the teachings
And the preaching’s of this religion and that -
Where the opinions of religious leaders
Are viewed and considered to be facts-
Where people cling to the hopes and beliefs
That someone else’s profess
Instead of seeking the truth for themselves
They settle for less
Where genocide and murder are done in the name of religion
Where people cant see that religion is just another opinion
Which leaves my 3rd eye closed
And my soul exposed to the vision of the flesh
Which in turn leads to a spiritual death
And now-
My third eye is blind to my own people
Yet my people don’t consider there people as equal
Meaning black don’t respect black
Because this black is not like that black
Yet from way back
We are all from the same tribe
Yet our boat ride has caused our vibe
And there vibe to collide
while we commit genocide and hide
our heritage in American pride
And reside
in ghettos and suburbs
We look down on them because there words
Don’t sound like our words
But our words are just words with different inflections
And we are members of the African selection
But our connection on the 3rd eye reception
Has got us forgetting we are all just the same reflection
And our deception is based on the perception
That our self worth is determined by our complexion
Leaving our 3rd eye mentally spiritually and physically blind
To our own kind – while our time
Continues to run
