This is long...read it ALL before you vote....
I once knew a dude, who seemed to have his life cued/ Was honest and caring, and closed his mouth when he chewed/ This guy was just 17, but we all saw success in his fate/ A very good athlete, Matter of fact, been the best since age eight/ He was genious without a doubt, always acin his tests/ He was a true leader, never ended up chasin the rest/ His morals intrigued many, couldn't help but try to get him to break/ He said He'd never give in, he was smart, and had everything at stake/ Wasn't much longer after that, I saw him walkin on his way home/ I jogged up to the kid, and asked "yo can I use your phone?"/ Bein as kind as he is, he handed it to me withouth second guessin/ Talked for a few, got off the phone, and than I started to test him/ "Hey man, theres a party tonight, you should definately show up" "Naw I'm cool, I'd rather play ball than watch a bunch of people throw up"/ "Just check it out, If you don't like it, i'll bring you back to your crib"/ "alright that sounds cool, but I don't drink or smoke, ya dig?"/ so we exchanged cell numbers, and each went there own way/ 4 hours later I pick him up, thinkin"I'ma break him today"/ we get to the party, and the house is jumpin/ all kinds of people and the music is bumpin/ Look out on the floor my man's started dancin/ With a girl who i knew was lookin for romancin/ He told me it was love at first sight, and wanted her digits/ I told him he'd have to break some rules if he wanted to get it/ convinced it was love, he didn't hesitate/ Gave him my drink, knowin he's featherweight/ feelin like he's cool cause he guzzled a 40/ "here playa hit this weed before you holla at shorty"/ he didn't want to at first, said he'd never done it before/ I eventually talked him into it, told him he'd find love with that whore/ they went into a room and didn't see him for a week/ than he called me up and told me the sex was sweet/ feelin extremely proud cause I made him gave in/ I fastforward through the future to see where he'd end I stop not much less than a year later/ to see dude dropped outa school and worked for his neighbor/ asked him why this happend, and told me he had a child/ "You were with her for one night""yeah, well thats life" as he smiled/ deep down Inside of him I saw the hurt from losin his life/ he only sexed the girl up because he viewed her as wife/ she didn't have feelings for him though, and abaondoned her seed/ Now I'm thinkin where he would be if it wasn't for drinkin and weed?/ Knowing I can influence him, I told him a lie/ I said, was she with anyone else? all he said was why I told him because I knew the kid was mine, I was with her before/ Now look at you, fucked because you made love to a whore/ out of anger dude swung at me, struck me in the cheek/ fell to his knees, started cryin out how he felt week/ right than and there, he pulled out a knife and than slit his throat/ Watchin with a grin, this will give me reason to gloat/ It may sound fucked up to you, but you dont who I am/ My name is peer pressure, and I've had your life in my hand/ on some I have mercy, I let you be stuck in your ways/ but theres so many who I'm responsible for endin there days/ regardless of that, it remains a fact, for mass suicides I'm accounting/ because whether or not you admit it, ive touched you, as well as 6 billion and counting/ |

What everyones talkin about My friend tells me ta go to this party at some white kids house... Heard its the party of the year includin free beer's wit out a doubt... PPL expectin me to go wen i don't, but worryin bout my reputation.. So I guess I have no choice but to go cuz im stuck in dis situation... The Party this is the first party i've went to, well this is the first time im inivited.. But as soon as I arrive, my friends offer me a drink, forcin me ta try it... I keep denyin, then i think that they now see me in a different way... Thinkin that i'll loose my friends, "Okay, i'll try once!" is wut i say... I try just a little, as I drink the red cup, they wait and stay quiet... I could tell they're waiting to see my reaction so I lie n say I like It... I continue though in my head what im doing I hate n really do despise it... My feelins I disguise it, though stop drinkin n rest, rachel advised it.. I shoulda listend but I just thought wut she sed to do isn't cool enough.. And it showed she was stronger to deny drinkin n dat I ain't tough... She told me we should leave cuz all of these people are just loosers.. Also we're the only girls, and after 1 hour five guys tried to seduce her... Me already bein drunk, I ignored her cuz i really liked the attention... Every guy treated me like i was special, even though i never met em.. She kept whisperin to me these big words, but i couldn't understand em... Got irratated cuz she's demandin, I socked her n everyguy was laughen. I laughed with them and wen I turned around she took my keys n jst left.. I didn't care anymore, so i went with the music and began to undress... "Jackie, Jackie, Jackie!" they were sayin encouragin me to go a lil further... So I did, I made out wit five guys straight and later on dis somethin worster.. I went up to the room with this guy, he sat next to me n kept talkin sweet.. Me not thinkin straight, I thought he was the one cuz he sed he luvs me.. He took out a condom, I told him to put it away cuz i knew i just wasn't ready.. He kept insistin, then I thought all my friends has done it..so i sed "plz go steady".. After an hour we finished, he said he'll be back after he used da restroom.. But instead he told all his friends, it went from one guy 2 da next dude... I felt abused n used, so for payback I took his wallet and car keys.. I drove it knowin I was drunk, drove passed red lights n heard car beeps... I was drivin 70 on a slick n wet a road dat ur suppost to drive less then thirty... I didn't even know where i was goin, but then all in a sudden I started swerving.. I ran a red light for the 5th time, but this time I hit this small red little buggy.... Wen I opend my eyes it was my friend rachels body in the window all bloody... Whats In My Mind I hate myself!!!For tryin to be cool, for just always tryin ta be better... I can't believe all of this happend in one nite just cuz of peer pressure.. This was very close. Ingeneous mind had a pretty solid verse, it told an alrite story that was fairly easy to follow and ended pretty good also. I dont think it was till near the end of wildfires verse that he got the win from.. The connection he made between the viewpoint he was writing actually being peer pressure was what cemented it in my opinion. You both could use a lil elevation, mind you could prolly go a lil deeper into your throughts during the party and wildfire, you could benefit from using transitions in your verse. vote-wildfire... |
