"Most Intellects Do Not Believe In God..."
First let me star by saying, if you truly want to be a rapper you have to enjoy literature and reading,anfd you have to have a love and appreciation for words. So read this in it's entirety. Then respond with a message or question.
I'm an Erykah Badu fan. Don't have not 1 c.d but I'm a fan. I like the way she thinks. For instance, the song on and on. She uses alot of metaphors in that song, like "...with 3 dollars and six dimes". 3 dollars and six dimes is 3.60 which represents 360 degrees (the measurement of a full circle). 360 degrees is something that the 5%'s nation uses to represent full understanding and knowledge. Completeness. In the chorus of the song she says, "My cipher keeps movin like a rolling stone". I didnt know what her cipher was until my friend who went to her concert told me. She has a tatoo of her cipher on her arm. (the thing that looks like a cross but has like a loop at the top)The tatoo represents the ovaries(the loop) the fallopian tubes (the two arms) and the birth canal(the bottom part of the cipher). When she says "My cipher keeps moving like a rolling stone" she is talking about life, it keeps moving. But what had me most awe struck is when she said "Most intelects do not believe in God but they fear us just the same". What that means is most intellects have their own theory about how our existance came to be and rely more on tagibility and facts. But when they are around christians, they go out of thier way not to offend us, and alter their behavior. Which means they are reverencing something that they claim tey dont even believe in. So fear and respect are the same thing in this instance. Which shows that God is truly real because the bible says "At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, and every tounge confess". So I'm gonna keep that lyric from Erykah as my signature for awhile till I find something else clever to put down there and right a whole essay about it on here. Selah(think about it) |

The Concept Of Faith To Me Give A Fake Prophet The Abilities To Take Claim Of Every Good Happening And Excuses Him Of Misfortunes Blame... Thats How I See It... What I think matters about as much as when I went to the poll to vote, it dosent. But sence you asked my openion I'd say that when man's so called "intellect" is thought to be greater than the the lords influence on us all as a whole than negative things are bound to happen to all of us

id have to disagree with abstarakt on the truth thing... think about it.. the bible only wants you to live by morals.. which is why every religion is asically the same change a phew names,places and ideas... but if u live my morals, then it dont matter what religion u claim, you will be going to the same place (heaven in my opnion).. u can be jewish, and go to heaven.. as long as live by morals, treat people nicely, and live the best life you can live... the bible isnt meant to be taken literaly.. as i dont take it that way.. i see it as gudance and a phew interesting stories along the way.. dont go to church and think you have an idea of a religion.. cause most times ur just getting someone elses interpretation of that religion.. which is why you MUST read the bible or karon or the books of your religion, then interpret what is being said YOURSELF, then carry out as u think it says to.. i kind of got of off subject a little, but just letting you know what i believe.. im originally a baptist, but i dont do things quite as they do.........
