having mixing problems in cool edit 2
 

I got cool edit pro 2
i got one track with the beat
and one track with the lyrics
i did all my shit to the lyrics (reverb...etc..)
but when i try to mix the two together the thing just freezes and the programs crashes.
i can mix the 2 files fine if i DONT do anything like reverb and shit. but if i mix them plain then when i try to do my reverb stuff it will effect the whole thing, not just my vocal parts... wtf is this like a glicth in cool edit or something? holla at me!

Maybe your comp doesnt have enough memory or some shit to do it.....try to save your vocals and instrumental under different titles......then try to mix them together....atleast this time you won't lose your progress. Hit me up on AIM or some shit if you wan tanything further :thumbup:

how much memory does it take to mix 2 files?... i did save them also.. just so u know.
But i got 512MB i mean my comp isnt slow or nothin.. i dont understand

ight so i can mix all my files if i dont edit them.
but if i edit even one of them (reverb, echo, DQ EQ...) then i cant mix it and the program crashes. can it not comprehend 4 diff files with diff settings and edits...?

cuz i want my main vocals to have some reverb, but then i want these other vocals to have an echo to them... but it cant be done with this apperantly... unless im doing something wrong...

its always nice to be able to help a crew member....well it could be you have the trial version of CEP2.0 and it won't let you do certain things...or you have some viruses...idk...somthings going on....you must not be doing somthing right...or you forcing everything down...idk man

i know i dont have any viruses, i think their is just a glitch in the cool edit program.

There can;t be a glitch if you're the only one with the problem.....maybe there's something wrong with your download. Maybe you should download Cool Edit again or something.... :thumbup:
