this is my first open mic, just want a lil feedback, it took bout 15 minutes......


Today they think that being a rapper is all about being fly
Rapping same old shit bout gangsters, guns and taking lives
When in fact everybody just needs to get back to basics
Stop all the fake shit, all these killings, hate and racists
And if you think I’m talking to you, you better stand up and face this
because it’s the same over the world, in a million different places

So you really gonna pull the trigger cos you got a lil beef?
Get heated up and pulling out quicker than ya lil baby teeth
The thing that matters is the way hip hop came to be
Being real and deep, that’s what makes an mc
Not talking shit bout ya ice and ya new Bentley
Talking bout ya hoes, ya cash or guns a plenty….

Its up to you which way you wanna play the game
Take it to the next level, or stay here and keep playing….
Cos all we doing is ruining hip hop and totally straying
From our real roots and the games the one that’s paying!

It was an ight drop...flow was on point, rhyming scheme was basic and this type of piece is where your rhyme scheme should excel...concept is used to death, but you executed it pretty good. Lyrics weren't that deep, could've had some better lyricism in this. Overall it was about a 6/10, good drop keep elevating
