I know its not the shortest ever.. lol.. but read n drop some feedback

The thing with wings landed in the mud, after it lost its winging and stalled
Struggling for help... Dirty... Low... But by the people, easily ignored
Until wrenched out of the dirt, covered in inpurity from toe to jaw
Who was but to pull him out... But the child plagued by terminal illness the night before..
His mother and father were disgusted, that he touched the horrid thing
A skinny old man... with a beard.. bald.. brownish, ruffled feathers on its wings
The angel spoke but, nobody could hear... for he spoke african dialect
They merely dragged him through the ground, into the chicken coop where he was kept
The conditions he was living in.. were to die for.. But how could you strangle urns?
He wasnt man, or was he? weak... hungry... But those wings were the barrier
they did not watch him... they did not feed him.. the pain was enough to make his eyes bleed
But they did notice the large crouds gathering around.. preventing them from sleep
They came from near and far... The sight of something different was truly shocking
So the man of the house charged admission... Using this happening for a profit
50c to see the angel.. that was the price on his head
But the angel was patient as a rock.. not moving, like it was dead
they threw stones at him.. Poked him.. yelled at him.. but his condition stayed the same
With a red hot branding they branded him.. out came not screams of anger, but of pain
Satisfied it was alive.. they continued stoning and poking. The poor thing was helpless
Yet from the heavens? People came from lands afar seeking cure for their illness
farmers seeking rain for crops, their feelds were granted crimson showers
And lepers seeking health... their sores mysteriously sprouted flowers?
It seemed the angels miracles were somewhat of a joke
Soon the people grew tired of him.. but the owner was far from broke
eventually interest was lost.. another entertaining happening diverted the publics attention
Left alone, the angel saw in a puddle its sorry reflection
It fell asleep... Still ignored by others... It slept through sun, snow, or stormy weather
But when new season came... Its wings sprouted brand new feathers
It broke out of the chicken coop.. startled by the noise the house attendants came out laughing and smiling
Prowess wings on that skinny thing... His first attempts at flight clumsy and childish
Nevertheless, he gained to air, his new sprouts purpose was true, soon they were to forget him
He flew back towards the see? They didnt care... he was gone.. But to land or to heaven?
