I leave a message introducing myself, now I got guys telling me to keep my attitude in check. Who the hell are these cats? The first rule to rap is to automatically think you're better than everybody. If y'all think I'm cocky, oh mother :cussing: well. I'm supposed to be. As an MC it's my job.

cats get pissed when you are cocky if you dont have shit to be cocky about...let me break it down...lets put on our imagination caps...

alright...you are a little light in the ass kid from manhatten and you step into a gym...in the gym you see muhammed ali in his prime and mike tyson and george forman and then a bunch of other boxers that arent quite that good but still much better than you...do you introduce yourself around and try to pick up some hints about how to be a better boxer...or do you run up on ali and go "alright motherfucker Im about to drop your ass"...

you get my point here...its good to bring all you got in a battle but you dont wanna run around with an attitude if you are still light in the ass because you are just gonna start looking like a mosquito to real heads...and that is werd...

Besides, it ain't healthy...when you get beat in a battle by some dude, and you have a cocky attitude...well let's just say most people would not take it that well, self-esteem gets lower, you start to dish in worse rhymes...and then pretty much, you just plainly get hated by everybody.
