EVERYTHING. one of my 1st songs
 

this is one of my first songs......its not too great....but decent considering it was only my 4th or 5th thing to write....its kind of a christian deal....please let me get some feedback


verse 1: Ayo im back like i left something/
here to kick knowledge that could affect someone/
bout one man who grew up alone and lacked love ones/
lived with one of his boys and they aint have nothin/
messed up his life.......had a kid in 11th grade/
had to raise his son....he knew it was heavens fate/
he couldnt let himself down he had to levitate/
wouldnt allow this kid to grow up like he did he's gonna set him straight/
but the money was running low, his kid couldnt eat/
filled out applications but the phone just wouldnt ring/
he had corrupted visions of doin these crooked things/
but some of the things that this man just couldnt see/
is that

HOOK: everything is gonna be ok
the future only holds a brighter day
everything is gonna be all good
if you get right with god like you should
everything is gonna be alright
if you look to the lord to be your guide
everything is gonna be just fine
if the devil packs up and leaves your life

Verse 2: so he'd pursue his thought stealing/
all the murders and drug dealing/
one of the boys up the block was rich so he was gon' kill him/
seen him rollin by in his new black cadillac/
so he gathered his glock, ski mask, and black bag/
proceeded through the night, there was no turnin back/
got to his house, broke through the window in the back/
alarm went off, was gonna run, but stopped after 2 steps/
saw him turnin the corner, put the glock to the dudes neck/
said i dont wanna do this but i gotta feed my lil man/
forgive my sin but my fate you see's in the devils hands/
said ok, lifted his chin, as if he accepted death/
closed his eyes, said i have eternal life in heaven left/
this was not in the plans, this act of bravery/
dropped the gun and said you were sent from heaven to save me/
i need jesus, im sorry, its been hard lately/
i avoided my signs im blind and i cant see/

Verse 3: So he got cleaned up and turned to christianity/
got rid of the drugs, guns, all the insanity/
started attending a church full of people wantin to help/
gods love was the first of any love he had felt/
started followin christ, started doin good for himself/
got a job offer from church thatd have him cruisin to wealth/
the stuggle was over, his kid could finally eat/
got outta the hood, safe was somethin he could finally be/
bad boy turned good,(recorded this was before mase came back, no biting) proud of the change in his life/
fortunate for what had happened on that strange summer night/
from 1 life, 1 hood, 1 kid, from no job/
to one man with one jesture, one calling from god/
and now he knows

I think you gave a clear picture of every thing you were saying
Making this a nice piece an since you wrote some thing that represent truth
Im giving this a 10-10 because teaching the the truth is the most powerful
message you can give any one,,,,we all have had thoughts of doing things until God
takes over an shows us a better way,,,,great work,,,you keep doing what you doing
