What's wrong with DMC's voice?
 

I've noticed over the past year that his voice and speech have declined significantly. He sounds like he has cancer of the pharynx or something.

From years of drinking an forcing his voice into a significantly higher pitch than it normally is...he permeanantly damaged his vocal cords....they cannot contract, so he can not change tones..so any word that requires changing tones to be pronounced he can't say without his voice cracking or fading out.....VH1 behind the Music info
