its a bit short and i wanna extend but check.. first ever attempt at poetry

you could never imagine my emotions inside
took my heart in your stride and left me deprived
inside, i try rebuilding my love but its hopeless
without a heart in my body, thoughts.. they're useless
deep within myself the battle begins
im feeling deeply for you but pain has set in
alas.. as god once told me only love will suceed
its not worth fighting for im already beat.
