A life without freedom isn’t really a life…
If I couldn’t be a free man, kill me tonight… We take it for granted, but we know is essential… People who aren’t free can never reach their potential… Gifts go ignored, when you’re shackled in life… I’m just so thankful, that we tackled the strife… Chains and bars, cuffs and ropes… Every one of them can cut ya hopes… But more than that, when dreams are suffocated… Ideas are desecrated, instead of demonstrated… Everyone can contribute, but most think they’d be ignored… Which is sad because their ideas should be explored… To some freedom doesn’t mean to not be chained… But to be listened to thoroughly, and not feel shame… Government isn’t the only thing that takes freedom away… It could be a parent to a kid, or a homophobe to a gay… We can be put down, that’s when we need the strength to get back up…. But some just give up, mentally aren’t strong so they just pack up… But not me, I’d say Patrick Henry said it best… It’s either, “give me liberty or give me death”… |

My mental capacity had the audacity to keep asking me how I actually slept at night while I comitted blasphemy Naturally, I laughed at the thought of a thought harrassing me Attacking me until reality started surpassing me My conscience revealed the contents of an obnoxious Ignoramous trapped in his own cage without a locksmith yearnin' to lift the burden...stop the pain, reduce the hurtin' Preferring a higher learnin' than post-existential burnin' Now a new man is emergin'... the other dead in the sea setting the scene, becoming what he was destined to be That textbook definition of freedom was insufficient Intentionally put together to favor certain conditions We're worshipping chains when chains were used when murdering slaves our cars became "whips"... ancestors turning in graves See the logic? mmmm...... my vote has to go to ill gramatix..... i feel your verse was a lot better..... more structured, anxiety, i could understand your and it wasnt bad but the ideas we kind of all over the place, ill grammatix your verse was nicely structured and had some good flow. i really illgramatix verse.... it was deep with some really mad multies, this is where anxiety could have made his verse better.... more multie mate, i dont think you had any owell...... illgramatix..plainly just a much better topikal... it was deep and meaningful... had awesome multies...nice flow nice struture... nuff said..... peace |
